Gustavo Scuseria, Robert A. Welch Professor of Chemistry at Rice University, received the 2017 S F Boys/A Rahman award from the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK). The award recognizes outstanding, innovative research in computational chemistry. The announcement noted Scuseria’s “pivotal contributions to the development and application of novel electronic structure methods.”
