Academic Pricing for China

General Information

• Effective March 23, 2007, all orders for sites in P. R. China must be placed through Beijing Hongcam Software Technologies Co., Ltd. 

• The license fees for products sold to our Chinese customers include additional technical support provided by Beijing Hongcam Software Technologies Co., Ltd.  Purchase of a Gaussian license without this additional technical support fee is not available. Please note that the license fees do not include any local taxes or import duties. Any fees required for taking part in public bids are also not included in the license cost.

• This pricing applies to degree-granting institutions only. This pricing does not apply to supercomputer centers and centers serving more than one site, nor to supercomputer versions of Gaussian. Contact us for details. Commercial Pricing for China

• The Gaussian 03 User's Reference & IOps Reference may be purchased for the special price of $35.00 when ordered with a minor revision of any version of Gaussian.

Maintenance is available for Gaussian 03 and TCP Linda.

Gaussian 03 for Unix

Gaussian 03 requires a license be signed prior to shipment. Available platforms are listed at www.gaussian.com/g03_plat.htm. Parallel program execution on clusters or across discrete network nodes requires a TCP Linda license in addition.

License fee includes program CD, Gaussian 03 User's Reference, IOps Reference, Programmer's Reference and Pocket Reference. New licenses also include a copy of Exploring Chemistry with Electronic Structure Methods.

Minor G03 Product Revisions

Licensed Gaussian customers may purchase minor revision updates (e.g. from Rev. C.2 to Rev. D.1) for a media fee.

†Minor revisions of the network parallel version of G03 may require a TCP Linda revision to function. In this case, the TCP Linda media fee is added to the Gaussian media fee.

Gaussian 03M for Mac OS X

Gaussian 03M is distributed in binary format only.

Gaussian 03M does not support parallel execution on multiprocessor systems.

§Requires G98M serial number. Cross platform upgrades from G98W are not permitted.

Gaussian 03IM is a single machine binary version of Gaussian 03 for Intel Macs running 10.4.9 and later Tiger releases only (Leopard is not supported). It is a 32-bit version, and it will not run in parallel on multicore or multiprocessor systems. It is intended as a low cost, entry-level version for this platform, and is sold under a shrink wrap license. It is not available to commercial customers. It is not upgradeable to any version of G03M. No upgrade discounts are available from a different version of G03/G03M. Fees paid for G03IM licenses are applicable to a later purchase of Gaussian 03 for Intel Macs (i.e., site license) upon request.
